According to the Zhitong Finance App, COSCO Haifa (02866) announced its results for the first quarter of 2024. Operating revenue was about 4.94 billion yuan, up 39.11% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 447 million yuan, up 12.22% year on year; basic earnings per share were 0.033 yuan.

According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to a recovery in demand in the container market and an increase in revenue from the box-building business.
