Gelonghui, April 26 | BYD Electronics (00285.HK) announced that Antony Francis Mampilly will retire in rotation at the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held on June 6, 2024 in accordance with the company's articles of association. Since Mampilly intends to retire due to age and spend more time on other business and personal matters, he has decided not to be re-elected at the annual shareholders' meeting.

As a result, Mampilly will retire as an independent non-executive director of the company from the end of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (i.e. June 6, 2024). On the same day, Mampilly will no longer serve as a member of the Company's Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee.
