The Nikkei Average in the back row started with an increase of 37926.06 yen, which was 297.58 yen higher than the previous day, expanding the increase from the previous draw (37780.35 yen). Nikkei 225 futures during lunchtime rose in the range of 37740 yen to 38,000 yen. The dollar and yen depreciated by about 40 yen from around 9:00 a.m., and the dollar was at a high level of 1 dollar = 156.00-10 yen. As for Asian market conditions, after the Shanghai Composite Index started slightly higher, it rose by about 0.8% due to a steady downward trend, while the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index had a situation where it became slightly cheaper in the morning, but then it remained steady and rose drastically by about 1.9%.
The backstage Tokyo Market began with buying ahead of time compared to closing ahead of the front. The Bank of Japan decided to maintain the current state of monetary policy at the Bank of Japan monetary policy meeting before the start of backstage trading, and it was reported that additional interest rate hikes were foregone, and in the foreign exchange market, it swung in the direction of depreciation of the yen and appreciation of the dollar, and buying became dominant in the stock market. However, there is little movement to actively pursue the upper price, and the increase is slightly heavy after one round of buying after a round of buying closer to the back market.
In the sector, pharmaceuticals, electrical equipment, and insurance industries are at the top of the rate of increase, while the chemical, electrical/gas, and fisheries/agriculture and forestry industries are declining. Keyence ＜6861＞, Socionext ＜6526＞, SUMCO ＜3436＞, Daiichi Sankyo ＜4568＞, Mitsui E&S ＜7003＞, TOWA ＜6315＞, Nidec ＜6594＞, Canon ＜7751＞, Nomura Micro ＜6254＞, and Daikin ＜6367＞ are high. Meanwhile, Shin-Etsu ＜4063＞, Fujitsu ＜6702＞, Komatsu ＜6301＞, Hokkai Electric Power ＜9509＞, DISCO ＜6146＞, Sakura ＜3778＞, NTT ＜9432＞, Mitsubishi UFJ ＜8306＞, TEPCO HD ＜9501＞, and Sumitomo Mitsui ＜8316＞ have declined.
