On the evening of April 25, Huada Intelligent Manufacturing (688114.SH) released its 2023 Annual Report and 2024 Quarterly Report. As a leader in the domestic gene sequencing field, the company's core business segment continued to grow in 2023, and its gene sequencer business achieved revenue of 2.291 billion yuan, an increase of 30.31% over the previous year. In the first quarter of 2024, the company's genetic sequencer business revenue was 449 million yuan, an increase of 4% over the previous year.

The steady growth of the core business is inseparable from the global layout of marketing and services. Huada Zhizao has always insisted on putting qualifications and regulations first, and actively promoted the qualification layout. In 2023, the company added 142 new product qualification certificates; by the end of 2023, the company had obtained a total of 329 qualification certificates worldwide, covering registration certifications in more than 20 countries or regions, including China, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Malaysia, covering entry requirements for more than 90 markets in Asia Pacific, America, Europe, Africa and Central Asia.

Judging from the market performance of the four major sequencer regions in 2023, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan achieved revenue of about 1,443 million yuan, an increase of more than 24.38%; the Asia-Pacific region achieved revenue of about 323 million yuan, an increase of 11.39%; Europe and Africa achieved revenue of 367 million yuan, an increase of 48.31% year on year; and the American region achieved revenue of 159 million yuan, an increase of 160.27% year on year.

In 2023, Huada Zhizao continued to make efforts in the direction of high-throughput and low-throughput sequencers. The ultra-high throughput sequencers represented by the T7 and T20, and the G99, which is characterized by being ultra-fast, flexible and simple, all achieved impressive market performance, and the total installed capacity worldwide continued to grow rapidly. The company added 854 new sales installed units of genetic sequencers worldwide last year, an increase of 41.39% over the previous year.

It is worth mentioning that the company added 695 new sequencers installed in the domestic region, with an installed caliber market share of 47.3%. The installed market share of the new sequencing equipment ranked first in the country for two consecutive years, showing the exemplary effect of the domestic region as a ballast stone for the company's business development and setting a solid benchmark for expanding the international market.
