Deposit and savings inquiry business digitization service “PipitLinq” provided by NTT DATA, Inc. (hereafter, NTT DATA)The number of credit banks that have introduced” has increased drastically, and as of 2024/4/15, it is 131 banks.
This is because in addition to the 5 banks that have been used under individual contracts since before, Shinkin Chuo Bank began providing a “cooperative scheme for deposit survey/response operations” (hereinafter, Kyodo Scheme) using PipitLinq to Shinkin Banks from 1/15, and the Shinkin Banks participating in the Kyodo Scheme became 126 banks as of 4/15.
PipitLinq digitizes deposit investigation and response operations carried out by administrative agencies such as local public bodies and tax offices to credit banks, and realizes the efficiency of inquiry work that until now has been carried out on paper.
backgrounds
Until now, Shinkin banks have used paper forms for most deposit surveys requested by administrative agencies, and the administrative burden on staff dealing with inquiry work has become an issue.
NTT DATA has been providing an digitized deposit and savings account inquiry service “PipitLinQ” to government agencies and financial institutions since 2019 as a solution to solve such issues. Based on the current situation where the transition from written to digital administrative procedures is accelerating nationwide, we have been studying the digitization of deposit investigation and response operations through Shinkin Central Bank and PipitLinq.
There are also cases where Shinkin Banks individually introduce PiPitLinq, but we aim to introduce more Shinkin Banks by implementing a scheme where multiple Shinkin Banks can be used jointly, with Shinkin Chuo Bank as the center.
The provision of the cooperative scheme began on 2024/1/15, and as the number of participating credit banks increased, the number of credit banks that introduced PipitLinq became 131 banks in 2024/4.
Overview of the Cooperative Scheme
Under the cooperative scheme, multiple credit banks can jointly use PiPitLinQ introduced by Shinkin Chuo Bank. Shinkin banks participating in the collaboration scheme can exchange electronic data related to investigation of deposits, etc. against credit banks with administrative agencies without individually introducing or developing systems. Electronic data is automatically queried by the system via Shinkin Chuo Bank, and response data is created.
