Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, Nichicon Co., Ltd. (including its subsidiary Nichicon Kameoka Co., Ltd.), Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Kyoto Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. signed a partnership agreement on the 23rd aimed at decarbonizing and strengthening the city through the spread of electric vehicles (EVs) and V2H (Vehicle to Home) systems.

Kameoka City has set up the “Kameoka Decarbonization Declaration,” and is promoting the introduction and use of renewable energy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, and is actively working on local production for local consumption of electric power. Furthermore, as a future vision aiming for an “economic cycle type zero carbon Kameoka,” we aim to realize a decarbonized society utilizing blessed regional resources, further develop the regional circulation and symbiosis zone, and improve the Kameoka brand.
Nichicon is an EV power station, a V2H system that supplies EV electricity to homes” and a “tribride power storage system that links EVs to homes by linking them with solar power generationWe are promoting the spread of ZEH (net zero energy houses) through”. We aim to realize a decarbonized society through energy self-sufficiency through the construction and dissemination of an independent energy management system.
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. promotes social change by realizing decarbonization and resilience (disaster countermeasures) through energy management, circular economy, sustainable tourism, regional transportation, and next-generation education, making use of the know-how and networks related to EVs that it has cultivated so far.Japan Electrification Action “Blue Switch”We are promoting it together with domestic sales companies. Kameoka City, Nichicon, Nissan Motor, and Kyoto Nissan Motor will carry out various initiatives aimed at realizing a decarbonized society through the use of EVs on the occasion of the conclusion of this agreement. We will co-create to preserve the beautiful natural environment that lies ahead of a zero-emission society and to create a clean, livable, and sustainable city.
