The market continues to be quite difficult, but at the end of the day, it seems that it is the US interest rate that drives the market. It is said that the US consumer price index for March exceeded market expectations, so expectations for interest rate cuts have receded again...

Once again, my name is Kyusuke Limited, and I'm writing the stock & cat blog “Profitable Stock Information “Cat Husband's Stock Knows No Ceiling”.

The consumer price index (CPI) for March announced by the U.S. Department of Labor on 4/10 rose 3.5% from the same month last year, exceeding market expectations. When the US headed for interest rate cuts, it went from being out of control to disappointment all at once.

If interest rate cuts go backwards, I'd like them to stop the worst developments, such as implementing interest rate hikes again. Even though it is the United States, which has the best economic power in the world, Chairman Powell could not have predicted that inflation would continue even if interest rates were raised this much. As geopolitical risks in the Middle East, Russia, etc. become apparent, it is conceivable that inflationary pressure will intensify further.

The exchange rate of the dollar to yen also fell to a historic depreciation level with the 153 yen range at one point. There is no problem with the depreciation of the yen boosting the performance of global companies representing Japan. However, since the Bank of Japan implemented interest rate hikes before small and medium-sized enterprises raised wages, it is impossible to say that Japan's economy as a whole is good. Japan probably won't have enough inflation to repel interest rate hikes like the United States.

In the end, the Nikkei Average remained divided by 40,000 yen during the week of 4/8 to 12. If it is well above the 25th line, hope will come into view, but I also feel that the wait-and-see mood is spreading. At times like this, I want to keep an eye on stocks with high performance expectations and solid charts.

First, I'll check out the independent PR company Kyodo PR <2436>. We had good financial results on 2/13, so we opened the window firmly and made a move. Recently, it has surpassed the 25th line and is moving in the high price range. The fiscal year ending 24/12 is also expected to be a record high, so I would like to keep a close eye on it.

Fuji Sash (5940), a major aluminum sash company, is speculated not only about performance expectations, but also about low PBR. It seems that it can be said that it is an excellent company that is making steady profits, even if there is little daily trading in small-cap stocks. “Response to Realization of Management Aware of Capital Costs and Stock Prices” was announced in November last year, and we are monitoring whether low PBR will be corrected in the future.

Mandarake <2652>, which has formed a strong upward trend over a long period of time, recently hit a year-to-date high. Dividend revisions were announced on March 29th, and business performance is also strong. There are also inbound-related speculations about manga, anime goods, etc., and we are closely monitoring the financial results announcement on 5/15.

The yakiniku chain Amiyaki-tei <2753>, which also announced an increase in dividends along with the financial results for 4/2, has formed a vivid upward trend. As a result of focusing on cost reduction through the introduction of meal ticket machines and self-service, it seems that business performance has also improved.

GA TECH (3491), which operates the real estate investment portal service “Renosy,” seems to have speculated with inflation as a tailwind, but due to deteriorating conditions, it was adjusted to the 75-day line all at once. There is a possibility that the price increase will be heavy for some time to come, but my personal expectations for the company continue in the field of “real estate tech,” where expectations for growth and expansion are high. If the search for domestic demand-related stocks intensifies again, I think it will once again induce speculation.

The last one is Sakata Inx <4633>, which has recently updated its year-to-date high. The company, which is a major printing ink company for newspapers, etc., is at a bargain level for both PER and PBR. I would like to increase monitoring of what will happen to the chart after the financial results are announced on 5/14.

Well, I've been talking a bit long, but my blog introduces such “individual stocks and theme stocks that are strong now.” If you have free time, please take a look. We look forward to seeing you with our beloved cat “Al.”
