Gelonghui, April 18 | Lukfook Group (00590.HK) announced that the Group's overall retail value increased by 5% year-on-year in the fourth quarter and surpassed the level of the same quarter in the 2018/19 fiscal year before the pandemic by more than 50%. The Group's overall retail revenue for the fourth quarter increased by 12% year-on-year, an increase of more than 10% compared to the same quarter of FY2019.

After the Group completed the acquisition of a controlling interest in Hong Kong Resources Holdings Limited on January 12, 2024, the business revenue of its Jinzhizun Jewelry brand helped increase the Group's retail value and retail revenue in the fourth quarter, but there was no impact on same-store sales.

Retail revenue for the fourth quarter in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China and the Macau Special Administrative Region of China increased 10% year-on-year and surpassed the level of the fourth quarter of FY2019. Retail revenue in mainland China increased 7% year-on-year during the quarter and increased by more than 20% compared to FY2019.

The Group added 230 stores net this season, mainly due to the inclusion of a total of 218 stores under the Golden Supreme brand. If the Golden Supreme brand is excluded, the Group added 12 stores during the quarter.
