Vicinity Motor Corp has initiated a new growth phase by appointing Brent Phillips as President, who will spearhead strategic and operational initiatives to enhance vehicle sales and streamline production. Phillips’ immediate plan includes onshoring the Vicinity Lightning electric bus production in Washington, expanding the Canadian dealer network for VMC 1200 electric trucks, and launching the VMC 1200 in the U.S. market. This move is set to optimize product availability and drive profitable growth for the North American mid-size bus and electric work truck leader.
