Judging from the internal disassembly diagram, unlike traditional camera modules, the Huawei hyperconcentrated retractable camera module uses a stepper motor to drive the gears to rotate, thus enabling the camera to expand and contract. According to analysis by people in the industry chain, compared with traditional VCM motor drives, stepper motors have greater driving force and can provide more free design space, including providing more possibilities for achieving diverse optical functions during product upgrades and iterations.
