日本最大的工會組織Rengo表示，日本企業已同意今年平均加薪5.2%，這是33年來最高，結束今年勞資雙方的第四次談判。
日本央行行長植田和男表示，持續的薪酬增長及通脹對於貨幣政策正常化是至關重要，而首相岸田文雄則稱希望今次加薪幅度可對結束二十多年來的通縮起決定性作用。
信貸研究公司Teikoku Databank的調查發現，1,050名受訪者中有77%今年獲得加薪，但當中三分之二的加薪幅度低於Rengo要求的5%。
