Mimaki Engineering <6638> announced on the 16th that its UV curing inkjet printer has been adopted in the new model “TrafficJet Xpress” printing system of the traffic sign printing system provided by Avery Dennison (headquarters: mentor, Ohio, USA). Sales will be announced at “INTERTRAFFIC AMSTERDAM 2024” to be held in Amsterdam (Netherlands) from 4/16.
Avery Dennison's TrafficJet printing system is a platform for printing on reflective sheets used in traffic signs, vehicle markings, and traffic devices. The company has supported DX conversion of global traffic sign manufacturing since 2013, when it began providing the first system in this series, and began providing a high-speed printing system “TrafficJet Pro,” which employs UV curable ink, in 2020.
The two companies will continue to strive to strengthen and expand their cooperative relationship in order to further grow their business.
