Lu Chuan, the famous sixth-generation director, said at the conference that as soon as ChatGPT appeared, he felt that a new era might be dawning. When he watched the video generated by the Sora system, he felt anxious; like a martial arts practitioner, others were practicing “The Eight Heavenly Dragons,” and he was playing sandbags every day. It's not a dimension at all.

The most immediate effect is that using AI can greatly speed up the visualization of ideas. As an example of his new film, Lu Chuan said, “Using traditional methods, it took two months from writing the script to completion, but now it only takes 2 days. It has greatly saved time and labor costs”.

Lu Chuan said he is very much looking forward to cooperating with Lenovo to establish an AI imaging laboratory to open up new horizons for the application of AI in the film industry.
