The US stock market declined. The Dow average closed at 37,753.31 dollars, down 45.66 dollars, and the Nasdaq closed at 15,683.37, which fell 181.88 points. It was bought as interest rates declined, and then rose after being snuggled up. After that, it was pushed by high-tech sales, starting with the semiconductor manufacturer NVDA (NVDA), and the market price began to decline. The decline of the NASDAQ widened towards the end of the game. The market became heavy, and the Dow was unable to maintain the positive zone and ended with a decline.

The dollar and yen fell from 154 yen 71 yen to 154 yen 16 yen in the New York foreign exchange market on the 17th, and closed at 154 yen 40 yen. Dollar sales became dominant due to the decline in US interest rates. According to the US Regional Federal Reserve Economic Report (Beige Book) published by the Federal Reserve (Fed), dollar sales strengthened further when economic activity only expanded slightly and interest rates fell further in response to strong US 20-year bond bidding results. Yen sales also declined in response to the Japanese authorities' sense of caution in correcting the depreciation of the yen. The euro dollar rose from $1.0630 to $1.0680 and closed at $1.0673. European Central Bank (ECB) President Lagarde stated that there were clear signs of recovery, which spurred euro purchases.

NY crude oil futures declined for the 5-year period (NYMEX crude oil closing price for the 5-year period: 82.69 ↓ 2.67).
