The Zhitong Finance App learned that Honda Motor (HMC.US) released a new pure electric brand “Ye” specially launched for the Chinese market on Tuesday. The brand will launch a total of 6 new cars by 2027. Meanwhile, Honda China has reiterated that it will achieve 100% electrification by 2035.

According to reports, the three new models of the “Ye” brand are “Ye S7,” “Ye P7,” and “Ye GT Concept.” Among them, the “Ye S7” and “Ye P7” are the first models of this brand. They were developed by Honda based on a newly developed special electric vehicle platform. They will provide two types of drive: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive, and are scheduled to be marketed by the end of 2024. The “Ye GT CONCEPT” is the brand's flagship model. Currently, the car is in a conceptual state and will be officially mass-produced and launched next year.
