Gelonghui, April 12, China Merchants Port (00144.HK) announced that Deloitte will retire as the company's auditor at the end of the company's annual general meeting of shareholders to be held on May 27, 2024. Deloitte has been an auditor for 12 consecutive years since 2012.

According to the recommendations of the company's audit committee, the board of directors decided to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers as the new auditor. It takes effect immediately after Deloitte retires at the end of the annual shareholders' meeting, and can only be implemented after approval by the company's shareholders at the annual shareholders' meeting.
