On the morning of April 11, it was reported that after two rounds of personnel adjustments in late February and late March, Meituan's organizational structure adjustments continued from the store to the home.

Recently, Meituan Takeaway announced a new round of organizational adjustments via internal email: the Urban Management Division was established under the Takeaway Division, and Huang Xiaoqin was appointed as the person in charge; the Chain Business Department was established and Li Jiayi was appointed as the person in charge; and the Supply Exploration Department was established, and Chuzheng was appointed as the person in charge. The above officials all reported to Xue Bing, head of the takeout division. Meanwhile, Wu Min continues to be the head of the campus business department of the former direct-run business department to report to Xue Bing. Wang Guanjie was appointed as the person in charge of Desperate and reported to Xue Bing. Mao Huining was appointed as the head of the takeaway user growth and operation department. He reported directly to Zhou Mo, head of the Meituan platform's user growth and operation department, and reported to Xue Bing on a dotted line. Wang Shiyu was transferred to the overseas business, and Sun Mujie was appointed as the head of the business planning department of the takeaway division to report to Xue Bing.

This personnel adjustment is a further deepening of Meituan's core local commercial business restructuring since the beginning of this year. The newly appointed core management teams of the Takeaway Division are all young managers trained and grown within Meituan from the front line of the business, and have rich practical experience in the field of takeout. As can be seen from this, Meituan is seeking a more flexible organization and closer to the front line.

In addition to the rejuvenation of personnel, the adjusted structure is flatter than before, and the core team is closer to the front line. For example, in the past, the takeaway division had a direct business department, and the direct business division was also divided into chain business, campus business, etc., but now the intermediate direct business department has been directly abolished. Judging from the efficiency of organizational decision-making, it is more convenient to capture changes in the needs of users and merchants in a timely manner and quickly carry out business innovation. Since this year, Meituan Takeaway has launched a number of innovative projects, including satellite stores.
