In March, China's total output of power and other batteries was 75.8 GWh, up 73.8% month-on-month and 39.8% year-on-year. From January to March, the total cumulative output of power and other batteries in China was 184.6 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 33.5%.
In terms of sales, in March, the total sales volume of power and other batteries in China was 73.2 GWh, up 96.1% month-on-month and 49.5% year-on-year. Among them, power battery sales were 62.3 GWh, accounting for 85%, up 85.6% month-on-month, and 41.3% year-on-year; sales of other batteries were 11 GWh, accounting for 15%, up 187.5% month-on-month, and 122.3% year-on-year.
From January to March, the total cumulative sales volume of power and other batteries in China was 167.7 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 35.5%. Among them, the cumulative sales volume of power batteries was 146.2 GWh, accounting for 87.2%, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 35.4%; the cumulative sales volume of other batteries was 21.5 GWh, accounting for 12.8%, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 36.8%.
In March, China exported a total of 12.2 GWh of power and other batteries, up 48.7% month-on-month and 19.6% year-on-year, accounting for 16.7% of the month's sales. Among them, power battery exports were 11.9 GWh, accounting for 96.8%, up 46.0% month-on-month and 33.7% year-on-year. Other battery exports were 0.4 GWh, accounting for 3.2%, up 227.2% month-on-month and 71.5% year-on-year.
From January to March, China's total exports of power and other batteries reached 28.9 GWh, accounting for 17.2% of the cumulative sales volume in the first 3 months, and a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 2.2%. Among them, the cumulative export of power batteries was 28.1 GWh, accounting for 97.6%, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 10.5%; the cumulative export of other batteries was 0.7 GWh, accounting for 2.4%, a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 82.5%.
In terms of loading volume, in March, China's power battery load capacity was 35.0 GWh, up 25.8% year on year and 94.6% month on month. Among them, the loading volume of ternary batteries was 11.3 GWh, accounting for 32.4% of the total loading volume, up 29.7% year on year, up 62.9% month on month; the loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 23.6 GWh, accounting for 67.6% of the total loading volume, up 24.1% year on year, and 114.6% month on month.
From January to March, the cumulative loading volume of power batteries in China was 85.2 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 29.4%. Among them, the cumulative loading volume of ternary batteries was 30.9 Wh, accounting for 36.2% of the total loading volume, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 47.8%; the cumulative loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 54.3 GWh, accounting for 63.8% of the total loading volume, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 20.9%.
