According to the Zhitong Finance App, Qiao Xiong International (00381) announced its 2023 results. The group recorded revenue of HK$384 million, a year-on-year decrease of 8.8%. Profit attributable to shareholders was HK$372.13 million, turning a year-on-year loss into a profit. Earnings per share were HK19.53 cents.

According to the report, the turnover of the toy and gift business this year was approximately HK$262 million, a decrease of about 10.4% from last year. The decrease in turnover was mainly due to increased revenue generated in North America. In the current year, gross margin increased to 37.1% (2022:35.5%), indicating rising production and logistics costs, while the North American market has recovered from the global coronavirus pandemic.
