According to the Zhitong Finance App, Yuantong International Express (06123) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of HK$5.292 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 21.1%; profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was HK$967.75 million, a year-on-year decrease of 29.23%; profit per share was 23.15 HK cents, and a final dividend of HK2.3 cents per share was proposed.

According to the announcement, the reduction in profits attributable to the company's equity shareholders was mainly due to a decline in demand for shipping services from customers in the shipping division; and in 2023, the decrease in freight charges charged to customers was due to an increase in the supply of air and sea freight space.
