According to the Zhitong Finance App, China's Xinhua Education (02779) announced annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of 643 million yuan (RMB, same below) during the period, an increase of 2.75%; profit attributable to shareholders of 307 million yuan, an increase of 30.4% over the previous year; basic profit per share of 19.09 points; and proposed to distribute a final dividend of HK6.32 cents per share.

The announcement stated that the increase in earnings was mainly due to an increase in average tuition fees.
