According to the Zhitong Finance App, Fire Rock Holdings (01909) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$135 million during the period, an increase of 17.2% over the previous year; profit attributable to company owners was HK$560 million, an increase of 1753.95% year on year; basic profit per share was HK$14.58.

According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to an increase in revenue from the Group's game distribution and operation division. The Group's gross profit for the year ended 31 December 2023 was approximately HK$108 million, an increase of approximately HK$30.9 million over approximately HK$76.6 million for the year ended 31 December 2022. The Group's gross margin for the year ended 31 December 2023 was approximately 79.7%, compared to about 66.6% for the year ended 31 December 2022. The increase in the Group's gross margin was mainly due to effective cost control of game testing conducted by third party service providers.
