According to the Zhitong Finance App, Ronghui International (00990) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of HK$55.377 billion, an increase of 41.66%; profit attributable to the company's equity holders was HK$1,2001 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.49%; profit per share was 8.91 HK cents, and an interim dividend of HK2 cents per share was to be declared.

The decline in the Group's net profit during the year was mainly due to the decline in the performance of distribution, trading and processing businesses and financial services businesses during the year. The distribution and trading business earned a partial profit of approximately HK$1,087 billion before interest and taxes during the year, a decrease of approximately 8% over the corresponding year of approximately HK$1,176 billion. The financial services business achieved a partial profit of approximately HK$320.5 million before interest and taxes during the year, a decrease of approximately 33% over the corresponding year of approximately HK$479.7 million.
