沃尔玛和Vizio将撤回并重新提交反垄断审查申请

Walmart and Vizio will withdraw and resubmit antitrust review applications

Gelonghui Finance ·  Mar 28 16:53
Glonghui, March 28 | Walmart has notified the US Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice that it will withdraw and resubmit its specific review application for the planned acquisition of Vizio to allow regulators more time to review the deal. The Walmart-Vizio wait period expires this Friday, unless more information is requested to extend the waiting period. After the application has been extended, the waiting period will end on April 29th. Walmart proposed to buy smart TV manufacturer Vizio in cash of $11.50 per share in February of this year, with a transaction amount of $2.3 billion. This is another bet on the retailer's rapidly growing US advertising business Walmart Connect.
