According to the Zhitong Finance App, BRILLIANCE CHI (01114) announced results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of 1,121 billion yuan (RMB, same below) during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 0.82%; profit attributable to shareholders of 7.735 billion yuan, an increase of 8.23% over the previous year; and basic profit of 1.53,312 yuan per share.

According to the announcement, the decline in earnings was due to the continued decline in demand for the Group's auto parts from traditional fossil fuel vehicles, but was offset by rising demand from electric and hybrid vehicle manufacturers. In addition, due to strong demand in the auto finance market, Brilliance East Asia Auto Finance's revenue contribution also increased in the second half of 2023.
