According to the Zhitong Finance App, Fufeng Group (00546) announced annual results for 2023, with revenue of about 28 billion yuan (RMB, same below), up 1.9% year on year; profit attributable to shareholders was about 3.1 billion yuan, a decrease of 18.6% year on year; profit per share was 124.02 points.

According to reports, the increase in revenue was mainly due to increased revenue contributions from the Food Additives, Premium Amino Acids, and Colloids segment. The Group's overall gross profit in 2023 decreased by 13.4% compared to 2022 to about 6.2 billion yuan, mainly due to a decrease in gross profit in the Food Additives, Animal Nutrition and other segments.

The board of directors recommended a final dividend of HK35 cents per share (including a basic final dividend of HK22 cents per share, a special final dividend of HK7 cents per share, and the sale of Shenhua Pharmaceutical's special dividend of HK6 cents per share). The annual dividend was HK58 cents per share (including an interim dividend of HK23 cents per share) (HK69.7 cents per share for the full year of 2022), and the annual dividend rate was 42.5% (2022:40%).
