Gelonghui, March 26, 丨 Neusoft Education (09616.HK) announced that for the year ended December 31, 2023, revenue was approximately RMB 1,806 million, up 16.6% year on year; gross profit was approximately RMB 865 million, up 29.7% year on year; profit attributable to company owners was approximately RMB 430 million, up 11.5% year on year; adjusted net profit was approximately RMB 429 million, up 12.6% year on year; basic profit per share was RMB 0.66 million, with a proposed final dividend of HK36.6 cents per share.

In 2023, the Group's revenue was approximately RMB 1,806 billion, up 16.6% year on year. The detailed analysis is as follows: revenue from full-time higher education services was approximately RMB 1,453 billion, up 23.7% from the same period last year, mainly due to the increase in the number of students enrolled in the three universities and average tuition fees; revenue from education resources was approximately RMB 192 million, up 5.3% from the same period last year, mainly due to the increase in project training revenue; and revenue from continuing education services was approximately RMB 159 million, up 8.3% from the same period last year, mainly due to the growth of training business.

The excellent running quality of the Group's three universities has been widely recognized by students and parents from all over the country, so the number of students continued to grow steadily in the 2023/2024 academic year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, the number of new students enrolled at the three universities exceeded 18,000, an increase of about 3.0% over the 2022/2023 academic year. After completing registration, the number of students enrolled in the three universities was nearly 57,000, an increase of about 7.5% over the same period in 2022, reaching another record high.
