According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Financial Investment Management (00605) announced annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group received interest and financial advisory service revenue of HK$134 million during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 34.53%; losses attributable to shareholders of HK$160 million, an increase of 204.4% over the previous year; and a basic loss of HK$0.79 per share.

According to the announcement, the decline in revenue from interest and financial advisory services was mainly due to the decline in revenue due to the uncertain economic environment; the Group carried out its loan business under stricter credit controls; and the use of more cash to repay loans and payable loans rather than issuing new loans in mainland China and Hong Kong.
