According to the Zhitong Finance App, 1957 & CO. (08495) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$472 million during the period, up 33.7% year on year; loss due to company owners was HK$6.246 million, up 1071.86% year on year; basic loss per share was 1.63 HK cents.

According to the announcement, approximately 99.8% of the Group's revenue comes from restaurants operating in Hong Kong, China. Revenue from Shanghai-style restaurants accounts for 39.2% of the total revenue of restaurants operating in Hong Kong, China. Revenue from operating Shanghai-style restaurants increased by about HK$59.8 million or about 47.8% from approximately HK$125 million for the year ended 31 December 2022 to approximately HK$185 million for the year ended 31 December 2023. The increase in revenue was mainly due to the revenue generated by the newly opened Imperial Family Shanghai Restaurant in Wai Fong, Shatin in late July 2023, and the cancellation of all social distancing measures against the restaurant industry by the Hong Kong Government.
