According to the Zhitong Finance App, Midland Group (01200) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$4,083 billion during the period, an increase of 31.06% over the previous year; equity holders should have accounted for an annual loss of HK$41.916 million, a year-on-year narrowing of 92.15%; and a basic loss of HK5.85 cents per share.

The announcement said that according to the Land Registry, the registered transaction amount of residential properties in Hong Kong, China in 2023 decreased by 4.5% compared to 2022. However, the Group was still able to significantly narrow its losses and increase its local business revenue. These improvements were mainly based on: the Group's stable market share in Hong Kong, China; and the Group's commitment to streamlining its Hong Kong business while maintaining its competitiveness on the local front line.
