According to the Zhitong Finance App, CGN New Energy (01811) announced results for the year ended December 31, 2023. Group revenue was US$2.93 billion, down 9.8% year on year; profit attributable to shareholders was US$268 million, up 37.2% year on year; profit per share was 6.24 US cents; and proposed final dividend of 1.56 US cents per share.

According to the announcement, the increase in profit was mainly due to (1) the reduction in impairment losses on confirmed property, plant and equipment; and (2) the change in the results of the associated companies from loss to profit.
