According to the Zhitong Finance App, MATRIX HOLDINGS (01005) announced that the Group is expected to make a loss of approximately HK$90 million to HK$110 million for the year ended 31 December 2023, and profit of approximately HK$6.2 million for the year ended 31 December 2022.

According to the announcement, the main reason for the decrease in the net profit of the group due to company owners in 2023 compared to 2022 was the decline in revenue in 2023. Consumer spending was affected by high inflation and concerns about slow economic growth. In addition, there were impairment losses on property, plant and equipment, intangible assets and prepayments.
