■Recent health management initiatives
　In April 2022, we opened an “OBC in-house clinic” where doctors are stationed, which is one of the few companies with a capacity of 1,000 people, and as entities that provide safety, security, and health to employees, we have begun providing three services: “health counselors for employees and their families,” “medical institutions that face health issues,” and “experts who work on prevention and pre-illness.”

An “occupational health nurse” was introduced to “OBC in-house clinics” in 2023/9, and in addition to strengthening the dissemination of health-related information, we are putting more and more effort into various consultations and mental care from employees.

　Unlike conventional health management rooms, an “OBC in-house clinic” is a facility that functions as a clinic. When employees feel unwell, it is also possible to receive medical examinations and prepare prescriptions and referral letters.

In addition, the “OBC in-house clinic” cooperates with the personnel department as a promoter of health management and is implementing various events and measures, and recently, collaboration events (yoga experience classes, meal seminars) were held with external fitness gyms, and there are still many smokers within the company, so “smoking cessation outpatient clinic” treatment has begun, and OBC President and CEO Wada, who used to be a smoker and succeeded in quitting smoking 15 years ago, has taken the lead and various measures aimed at quitting smoking 15 years ago We plan to proceed.

  　The Health Management Excellent Corporation Certification System is a system established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in fiscal 2016 for the purpose of creating an environment where employees, job seekers, related companies, financial institutions, etc. can receive evaluations by “visualizing” corporations such as large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises that practice particularly excellent health management.
