英國競爭及市場監管局(CMA)表示，長和(00001.HK)旗下3英國及英國Vodafone的190億美元合併可能會面臨為期24個星期的深入調查，因合併可能會不利消費者。
CMA在上周五(22日)給予兩間公司五個工作日的時間，以提交有意義的解決方案，回應合併將導致消費者和企業面臨價格上漲，以及投資減少的擔憂。兩間公司在初步回應的聲明中表示，仍然相信今次交易將為競爭、客戶及國家帶來重大利益。
