Malaysian shares ended in the green zone on Friday after a mixed trading session. The index extended gains from the previous session.
The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI, the main gauge of Malaysian stocks, gained 0.98 points to end 0.06% higher at 1,542.39. The day ranged between 1,537.92 and 1,543.84.
In economic news, the international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia stood at $113.4 billion as at March 15. The reserves position is sufficient to finance 5.4 months of imports of goods and services, and is one time of the total short-term external debt, the central bank said.
