Gelonghui, March 22 | China Construction International (3311.HK) closed up 3.41% to HK$9.1 million today. It traded HK$65.94 million throughout the day, with a market value of HK$45.8 billion. China Construction International announced its 2023 annual results yesterday after the market. Profit attributable to shareholders increased 15.2% to HK$9.164 billion during the period, with basic profit of HK$1.82 per share and net asset value per share of HK$14.74. The Board of Directors proposed a final dividend of HK$28.5 per share for the year 2023, with a total dividend of HK$56.0 cents for the full year, an increase of 16.7% over the previous year. According to the UBS Research Report, China Construction International's net profit increased 15% year-on-year last year, exceeding UBS expectations and slightly better than market forecasts. The bank raised its earnings estimates by 5% and 6% for this year and next, respectively, to reflect the long-term improvement prospects of the Hong Kong market and the better expenditure ratio than expected. The target price was raised from HK$12.2 to HK$12.8 to maintain the “buy” rating.
