The first phase of the 50,000-cubic silicon-based nano-aerogel composite material project was successfully put into operation and successfully put into operation on February 27, 2022. The project uses supercritical carbon dioxide drying technology to prepare aerogels, and built 4 automated production lines to achieve continuous and large-scale production of aerogel composites, reaching leading domestic scale, leading technology, leading products, and leading degree of automation. Aerogel materials were first used in the aerospace field. Currently, aerogels have also become an indispensable core material for thermal protection of lithium batteries.
