GLONGHUI March 21 | SHANGHAI GROWTH (00770.HK) announced that for the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group recorded a net loss of US$455,345, compared with a net loss of US$970,513 in 2022. The decrease in net loss was mainly due to a decrease in net loss from securities investment compared to last year.

For the year ended December 31, 2023, the company recorded a realized loss of US$18,852 from the sale of listed securities (2022: realized loss of US$480,912) and a net unrealized loss change of US$1,920 (2022: unrealized gain of US$21,210) in securities investments. Dividend income received from listed portfolios during the period was $23,442, compared to $24,016 in the same period last year. As a result, the company's securities investment recorded an overall income of $2,670 in 2023, which was offset by operating costs of $467,896, resulting in a net loss.
