The decrease in net sales is mainly due to the continued decline in the housing market in 2023, which led to a decrease in demand for large household furniture in the US. Gross profit for the year was US$107.2 million, a decrease of US$45.3 million from US$152.5 million in 2022. Gross margin increased slightly to 25.9% from 25.5% in 2022. The Group recorded a profit of $3.3 million in 2023 compared to profit of US$15.1 million in 2022.
