According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Merchants Land (00978) issued an announcement that since the company is a subsidiary of China Merchants Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise and subject to such relevant regulations, the company will follow China Merchants Group Co., Ltd. and not appoint its current auditor Deloitte Guan Huang Chen Fang as its auditor. Deloitte will retire as an auditor at the end of the company's recent annual general meeting of shareholders to be held in 2024, and will not be renewed.

According to the recommendation of the Company's Audit Committee, after Deloitte's retirement, the board of directors decided to recommend the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers as the company's auditor. The term of office is until the end of the company's next annual general meeting of shareholders to be held in 2025, but only after approval by the company's shareholders at the 2024 annual shareholders' meeting.
