According to Zhitong Finance App, Conch Environmental Protection (00587) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 1,882 million (same unit), an increase of 8.79%; profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders of RMB 264 million, a year-on-year decrease of 19.63%; profit per share of 0.14 yuan, and plans to distribute a final cash dividend of HK$0.03 per share.

Since 2023, under the leadership of the board of directors, the Group has closely focused on development plans, grasped the “green and low-carbon transformation” policy opportunities, continued to consolidate the leading position of cement kilns in collaborative disposal, accelerate the business layout of alternative fuels, fly ash disposal, sludge disposal, etc., and actively enter the medical waste disposal market.

At the end of the reporting period, the Group had put into operation and built 82 environmental protection projects in 22 provinces, cities and autonomous regions across the country, including 41 general hazardous waste projects, 5 fly ash washing projects, 7 sludge disposal projects, 25 industrial solid waste projects and 4 comprehensive resource utilization projects. The treatment scale involved was about 9.4363 million tons/year (excluding projects to be approved and not yet built).
