Gelonghui, March 19 | Minsheng Education (01569.HK) announced that for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, the Group's total revenue was approximately RMB 2.35 billion, a slight decrease of about 0.1% compared with the same period in 2022. The Group's gross profit was approximately RMB 1.26 billion, a slight decrease of about 1.2% compared to the same period in 2022; gross margin was about 53.6%, a slight decrease of about 0.6% compared with the same period in 2022.

According to the resolution passed by the board of directors on March 19, 2024, the company intends to declare a final dividend of HK0.98 cents per common share for the year ended 31 December 2023 (equivalent to RMB 0.89 points, calculated based on the median exchange rate of RMB 0.90,772 = HK$1.00) announced by the People's Bank of China on March 19, 2024 (2022: HK4.29 cents), subject to shareholders' approval at the company's annual general meeting. The expected payment date for the final dividend will be or no later than August 27, 2024 (Tuesday).

On November 24, 2023, the company announced that the Dianchi College of Yunnan University was approved by the Chinese education authorities and agreed that Dianchi College of Yunnan University would be converted to Dianchi College, and that Dianchi University was a private undergraduate general college. Dianchi University chose to run the school on a for-profit basis. As of the results announcement date, the group is in the process of completing the relevant formalities.
