UCrest and Mediprima Team up for Medical Service Digitalisation

UCrest Bhd and Mediprima Healthcare (M) Sdn Bhd have entered a business partnership agreement to modernise clinics with a digital health platform and internet of medical things (IoMT), propelling primary care services into a new era and advancing the healthcare industry.

Mediprima will integrate iMedic, UCrest's leading digital health platform, into its 18 clinics nationwide, offering telemedicine, preventive care programs, chronic disease management, and digital health screening programs.

The collaboration is expected to support Mediprima's expansion plans positively. UCrest's iMedic is renowned for its IoMT and AI capabilities, connecting patients and healthcare practitioners to proactively manage health, and is currently used across multiple countries.

UCrest views this partnership as the dawn of a digital health era in Malaysia, enhancing primary care services from reactive medical treatment to proactive health management.

Mediprima founder and director, Dr. Anbalagan Kailasan, stressed the significance of technology integration in healthcare for enhancing patient well-being, while UCrest CEO, Eg Kah Yee, underscored the strategic significance of the partnership in revolutionising healthcare services, enhancing productivity, and providing affordable healthcare nationwide.
