According to the Zhitong Finance App, Zhiyi Holdings (08100) announced that the group expects a net loss of no more than HK$22 million for the year ended 31 December 2023 (fiscal year 2023), while a net loss of approximately HK$1.4 million for the year ended 31 December 2022 (fiscal year 2022).

The expected net loss for FY2023 is mainly due to loss of approximately HK$8.4 million (FY2022: profit of approximately HK$22.6 million) in the Group's software business segment. The main reason is the decline in revenue and net interest in this segment due to intense competition in the software industry, as well as impairment losses of goodwill and intangible assets of approximately HK$18 million (FY2022: none); (2) The Group's securities investment division lost approximately HK$900,000 (FY2022: approximately HK$6.5 million); (3) the Group's enterprise management solutions and The combined impact of the IT Contract Services segment profit of approximately HK$500,000 (FY2022: approximately HK$1.4 million); (4) the Group's business-to-customer online sales platform and business-to-business product trading business segment lost approximately HK$1 million (FY2022: approximately HK$3.8 million); and (5) other corporate expenses of approximately HK$12.2 million (FY2022: approximately HK$12 million).
