"Oppenheimer" was the big winner at the 2024 Academy Awards on Sunday, scooping up seven Oscars from its 13 nominations.

The biopic about the "father of the atomic bomb" and his role in the Manhattan Project, won the Oscar for Best Picture, withChristopher Nolanwinning Best Director andCillian Murphy, Best Actor in a Leading Role, withRobert Downey Jr. winning Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

Its other accolades were for Best Score, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
