On March 10, GLONGHUI | New Century Healthcare (01518.HK) announced that the company expects the profit attributable to the company owner to be about RMB 80 million to approximately RMB 100 million for the year ending December 31, 2023, while the loss attributable to the company owner in the previous year was approximately RMB 297.7 million. As a result, the company is expected to record losses attributable to company owners in the previous year to profit attributable to company owners during the reporting period.

The Board believes that the above expected financial results are mainly due to (i) the general recovery of the Group's business performance since the first quarter of 2023, particularly the significant increase in the business relating to the provision of pediatric services, which led to a significant increase in the Group's revenue during the reporting period; and (ii) the reduction in impairment provisions for certain non-current assets and financial assets during the reporting period, totaling approximately RMB 282.3 million in impairment provisions for the previous year.
