According to the Zhitong Finance App, Seaport Enterprise (00051) announced its results for the full year of 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$1,579 billion, an increase of 38.63% over the previous year; losses attributable to the company's shareholders were HK$107 million, a year-on-year decrease of 45.69%; and a loss of HK$0.15 per share.

Hotel revenue increased 65% to HK$952 million (2022: HK$577 million) and achieved operating profit of HK$26 million (2022: loss of HK$240 million). As occupancy rates and room prices both increased, Hong Kong hotel revenue increased 69% to HK$826 million (2022: HK$490 million), and operating profit was HK$45 million (2022: loss of HK$193 million). Mainland revenue increased by 45%, and operating loss narrowed to HK$19 million (2022: HK$47 million).

Investment property revenue increased 12% to HK$242 million (2022: HK$217 million), and operating profit increased 13% to HK$213 million (2022: HK$189 million).

Revenue from development properties increased 23% to HK$238 million (2022: HK$193 million), and resumed operating profit of HK$28 million (2022: loss of HK$61 million).

The operating profit from the investment (mainly dividend income) was HK$140 million (2022: HK$142 million).
