Futu News reported on September 23 that Xiaomi's rise continued. It hit the 10th in early trading today. As of press release, it had risen 1.73% to HK$9.41, with a turnover of HK$373 million.

Xiaomi will host a new product launch tomorrow (24th). The official Weibo post will post a warm-up poster for the new product launch, implying that the new Xiaomi MIX Alpha will be equipped with a 100 million pixel camera, and revealed that the name of Xiaomi's new phone is Xiaomi MIX Alpha. The market hopes that its new phone will trigger a wave of switching.

The Xiaomi Group recently announced that it will repurchase 10.8 million shares again on September 20, accounting for 0.045% of the total share capital at a cost of HK$99.94 million. It has repurchased shares for the fourth day in a row. A total of 19.0174 million shares have been repurchased, involving HK$174 million.

Prior to that, on September 19, Xiaomi bought back 2,732 million shares at a cost of HK$24.98 million; on September 18, Xiaomi bought back 2.73 million shares at a cost of HK$24.97 million; and on September 17, Xiaomi bought back 2,7562 million shares at a cost of HK$25 million.

On September 3, the Xiaomi Group issued an announcement stating that on September 2, 2019, the board of directors formally decided to exercise share repurchase authorization to repurchase shares on the open market at a maximum total price of HK$12 billion from time to time. The board of directors may further exercise share repurchase authorization according to market conditions.
