Hong Leong Asia’s attributable net profit climbs 19% YoY to $64.9m in FY23

Improved contributions from the company’s JVs and associates drove the increase.

The net profit attributable to shareholders of Hong Leong Asia increased in FY23 by 19% YoY to reach $64.9m.

In a bourse filing, the company attributed the increase to better margins and improved contributions from its joint ventures and associates.

In FY23, the company also recorded a 5.2% YoY higher revenue of $4.1b and improved earnings per share of $0.0867.

With an improved bottom line, the company proposed a final dividend of $0.02 per share, subject to shareholders’ approval.
