According to the Zhitong Finance App, Guantong Group (01059) announced interim results for the six months ended December 31, 2023, with revenue of HK$83.563 million, up 57.69% year on year; net profit of HK$5.682 million, up 35.32% year on year; and profit of HK2.18 cents per share.

The announcement said that the increase in revenue is mainly due to supply chain issues now being resolved, backlog orders carried over from the previous fiscal year have been fulfilled, and orders for emergency services in the UK were received and fulfilled earlier than expected. The increase in profit was mainly due to the subsidiary Multitone, which contributed approximately HK$19 million in revenue. Business remained stable during the period.
